hey, i'm Lou1s - a fullstack web developer who recently went down the Web3 rabbit hole. back in my sophomore year of college, i somehow turned late-night coding, caffeine, and curiosity into almost $20,000 - through hackathons, bounties, grants, and freelance gigs. no fancy setup, just me, my laptop, and a borderline unhealthy relationship with the terminal.

i've built scalable fullstack applications, contributed to open-source Web3 projects, and explored the depths of decentralized finance, smart contracts, and tokenized assets. as a contributor to multiple Web3 initiatives, i actively engage in collaboration to push the boundaries of blockchain technology.

Frontend engineer at VietPay, a Vietnamese fintech that builds payment infrastructure for merchants, part of Tiger Financial. Works on the merchant dashboard (web and iOS), the internal back office and the customer checkout.

Built the merchant dashboard in React 19 and TanStack, then ported it to a native iOS app in SwiftUI. It covers revenue and accounting, refunds, team permissions, payment links, a product catalog and a chat that can send and request money.
Wrote sign-in for both platforms: passkeys, QR sign-in from another device, OTP, Google, Facebook, Zalo and Telegram accounts, and switching between several accounts.
Built the frontend for MMS, the internal back office, where no one approves their own change. Every edit to a staff or merchant record is proposed by one person, approved by someone in a different role and confirmed with a passkey. Partner commission reports live there too.
Shipped the hosted checkout in Next.js, with card, QR and discount-code payments and a receipt that renders to both web and PDF.
Wrote vn-bank-deeplink, an open-source TypeScript SDK that opens a Vietnamese banking app with the VietQR transfer already filled in. It only offers links someone has tested on a real phone, because an untested one fails silently while the customer is trying to pay.
Generated typed API clients from the backend's OpenAPI contracts on web and iOS, and shipped every screen in Vietnamese and English.
Also built the VietPay and Tiger Financial investor sites, and POS Care, a troubleshooting site for POS terminals.
